Better fit. Better movement. Better partnership.

About

Hi, I’m Marie, a dedicated saddle fitter with a lifelong passion for horses and their wellbeing. My journey began in Vermont, where I started riding at just five years old. Since then, horses have remained a constant in my life, shaping who I am both personally and professionally.

I completed my formal training at the New England Saddle Fit Academy under the guidance of Lise Kreiger, whose expertise and horse-centered philosophy continue to shape my approach to every fitting. Alongside my saddle fitting education, I also hold an MBA, which supports the professionalism, organization, and client-focused care I bring to my business.

Today, I’m fortunate to own Apollo, who played a huge role in inspiring my career path. Through him, I saw firsthand how transformative correct saddle fit can be for comfort, performance, and partnership.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be completing my Western Saddle Fitting certification in Spring 2026!

Why a Saddle Fitter?

Because your horse deserves to move freely, comfortably, and without pain.

Saddle fit isn’t guesswork, it’s skilled, detailed, and essential to keeping your horse comfortable and performing their best. A properly fitted saddle is one of the most important pieces of your horse’s wellbeing. A professional saddle fitter brings a trained eye, hands-on assessment, and a deep understanding of conformation, biomechanics, and saddle construction.

Ill-fitting saddles can create pressure points, restriction, behavioral issues, and long-term physical problems. With professional guidance, you can make informed decisions that support your horse’s long-term health and your riding goals.
